We are proud to announce that Hemisphere Freight Services Ltd. were voted the 2017 Best European Project Partner for project logistics at the 12th WCA Projects Annual Conference at the Grand Elysee Hotel in Hamburg, Germany the 1-3 of June.

WCA Projects is a networking alliance comprised of the world’s most experienced independent project forwarders. WCA Projects Network has over 385 member offices in 111 countries, who work together to expand technological resources, global reach and buying power, ultimately to deliver seamless door to door logistics solutions worldwide.

Since becoming a part of the alliance, we have attended five conferences and have been shortlisted four times. However, this was the first time that we have won, making this a great achievement and confirmation of the proactive work we have done with our partners, who voted for us to win on the night alongside other companies from other regions including:

Over 185 members attended this event and we always find it to be a great place where companies can meet new partners, develop their businesses, strengthen existing relationships and look back on the last year’s success.

“I want to say well done to our team including Dan Leach, Daniel Morgan, Harry Croome and Ian Stewart as this award is a testament of all of your hard work. I also would like to thank all of our fellow WCAPN members for voting for us and we look forward to working with you again in 2018.” Louis Perrin, Director, Ipswich

Aside from the social networking, one-on-one meetings, and the awards, the event agenda also included professional discussions where companies in the the WCA Projects network could discuss important issues impacting the industry.

For Hemisphere, we have found that not many students are aware of the benefits of working in logistics, which is why our very own Louis Perrin, Director in Ipswich, did a presentation on the effective ways that companies can train, educate and bring young people into the logistics industry and you can find his presentation deck here.

“I have found this industry to be very rewarding, which is why I am passionate about helping young adults develop and find success in logistics.” Louis Perrin, Director, Ipswich
