Dock workers at the Port of Liverpool have confirmed that they will strike over pay. The strike action is set to take place on 19th September until 3rd October. The strike was confirmed by Unite the Union, and follows the recent industrial action at the Port of Felixstowe.

What’s the potential impact?

The strike, which will involve over 560 port operatives and engineers, has the potential to lead to a slow-down in productivity across the UK supply chain. However, we are not expecting any disruption to our own client base as a result. We will continue to monitor any shipments that could be affected, and will keep you updated of any changes so that you can minimise the impact on your business.
