Hemisphere Opens New 60,000 sq ft Warehouse

To support the growth of our warehousing and fulfilment offering, we are excited to announce our facility at Felixstowe (recently granted Free Port status), creating an additional 60,000 square feet of space at one of the UK’s most important ports.
This marks a significant addition to our existing 22,000 sq. ft. packing facility at ABP Ipswich, as well as the 110,000 sq. ft. of warehousing space at our Ipswich HQ. It gives us the opportunity to expand our operations with the focus on providing a more dedicated and focused ETSF service.
Greater capacity and a faster turnaround
This will be a catalyst for development of both operations, with our close proximity to the quay enabling us to turn around containers in a timely and efficient manner, while the added space increases the total volume of containers we can handle in general.
This means our Whitehouse facility can accommodate more racked storage, enhancing our capacity for order fulfilment and allowing us to develop our use of technology for our pick, pack and fulfilment services. We can also offer a full range of delivery options, from full loads to carton deliveries.
Ensuring clients get their shipments more quickly
Clients will immediately notice a faster turnaround time for receiving their goods, with shipments handled smoothly and efficiently from devan through to delivery, and the ability to utilise Hemisphere’s resources for a greater volume of work. Technology at our facilities also enables greater automation of information, with a drive towards live data feeding directly to our clients, so they are able to monitor the progress of their shipments at every stage of the journey.
