HFS Doubles Capacity at LHR

Due to the continued growth and further development of our Air Freight operation, we’re pleased to announce Hemisphere has recently signed a lease on a neighbouring unit to effectively double our capacity at London Heathrow (LHR) – from 3,500ft2 to 7,000ft2.
The new unit is fully customs bonded (ETSF) and enables us to handle full E-commerce Logistics business on site. We also have the means and facilities on site to handle shipments that are loaded into temperature controlled containers, such as Envirotainers. This is particularly useful for Pharma shipments.
We’re now operating 7 days a week out of LHR, which enables us to move import shipments from the airline sheds back to our ETSF customs bonded warehouse, meaning our customers avoid high airline storage charges.
Import shipments that arrive at the weekend are customs cleared over the weekend, which means our customers can expect their deliveries to arrive sooner than would normally be the case. This is exactly the kind of value we always look to add with our global logistics services.
