Headquartered in Taiwan with its European head office in Newcastle, Hopax is globally-recognised as an expert in paper-making chemicals and has grown to become the second-largest sticky notes manufacturing company in the world.
The business required a strategic partner to fulfil the UK and European distribution of its innovative stationery products, which are sold worldwide. HFS was recommended to Hopax by one of its customers, which were already using us to import stock from Asia.

Removing the Headache of Logistics
By managing all aspects of its distribution and warehousing, we have taken the headache of logistics away from Hopax, giving the company peace of mind that it is being handled in an efficient, professional and cost-effective manner on its behalf.
Our 110,000ft2 fully-bonded warehouse in Ipswich is ideally situated for distribution via the Port of Felixstowe, ensuring Hopax’s supply chain is streamlined, transportation and distribution costs are kept efficient and Hopax doesn’t have to pay for its own warehousing facility. With our fully-integrated warehouse management system (WMS), Hopax enjoys full traceability of its stock – from container receipts to customer delivery – with the order process updated at every milestone.
Our team liaises closely with all Hopax clients, aiming to deliver to their needs and timeframes with every consignment. This will often involve planning for the arrival of new stock, so it can be unpacked, picked, packed and delivered to clients with a short lead time, ensuring they can continue to fulfil their onwards obligations.
Hopax has continued to grow since working with HFS, picking up larger accounts through the personal relationship and service it offers customers. By acting as part of its team, we have managed to build a strong and mutually beneficial partnership with Hopax – one that we look forward to developing further for years to come.
