Given current events, we wanted to take a moment to update you on how we are planning to support our customers around the globe.
In these challenging times, we would like to reassure you that it is still business as usual at Hemisphere Freight Services.
We are working closely with our partners worldwide to ensure all shipments can be delivered on schedule wherever possible, and our team remains fully committed to providing an expert logistics service for every need.
We have and will continue to work tirelessly to implement measures to follow government guidelines and are doing the necessary to protect the health of our teams and reduce the risk of spreading the virus. We already have many of our team working from home and only the essential numbers in the office as key workers to ensure we are fully operational and able to keep supply chains moving as effectively as possible.
We understand that some of our clients’ warehouses are closing and therefore have container shipments on the water that may not be able to be delivered as planned.
To help those who are faced with this situation, we are able to offer off-quay storage options at both our Westbank and Whitehouse Road sites during this time. This will help to avoid expensive quay rent charges; however, container detention charges will still be applicable. Please contact your usual HFS team member for further information.
