To support the growth of our export packing, case making and bulk storage operations, we’re reopening our Ipswich Port Warehousing facility. We’ve ensured long-term security for customers by signing a five-year term on the site at West Bank Terminal, which is close to our Ipswich HQ and the Ports of Ipswich and Felixstowe.
The 22,000 sq ft facility is already equipped with machinery and tools for export packing, case making and preparing goods for transportation, supporting the expansion of these services. The warehouse will also be used for storing industrial and out-of-gauge products for clients and additionally increase our off-quay container storage capacity. This will meet client demand and help them avoid expensive quay rent charges.
Commenting on the move, Director Craig Perrin said, “We’re always looking to make life easier for customers. Reopening this facility means we can help more clients get their goods packed and exported efficiently, with enough space to support incoming shipments, bulk storage and container storage too. By committing to this lease until 2030, our clients can be confident that their packing and shipping needs can be met.”
